I am currently a doctoral candidate majoring in Information Technology at
Rutgers University and will complete my degree in the
spring of 2007. My field of specialization is system analysis and design and the emphasis of
my Ph.D. research has been alternative systems development methodologies, specifically, agile software
development methodologies and their adoption in organizations. With my advisors, Professor
Kenneth E. Kendall
and Professor Julie E. Kendall
I have coauthored two papers and one book chapter recently (please refer to my CV for details).
During my years at Rutgers University, I have had the opportunity to
work as instructor for management information systems courses for 4
semesters as well as serve as guest lecturer for various M.B.A. courses.
My teaching experience was so positive and fulfilling that I have fully confirmed that teaching is my true
passion and being in the classroom is my true calling.
|
My career goal is to become a scholar through research, teaching and service at a major university or research institution in the US.
Professor Julie E. Kendall and Professor Kenneth E. Kendall congratulated me after my proposal hearing, 2005. |
Call for Participation
I am currently looking for software developers and managers to be
the respondents for
an online survey, which collects opinions on agile software development methodologies. Please contact me at sukong@pegasus.rutgers.edu
if you're interested in filling out
the survey. In return, I will
provide study reports to the respondent for free.
In addition, I help participating organizations gain exposure in North America by mentioning their names in my publications, if they
choose. Please contact me at
sukong@pegasus.rutgers.edu for details.
